Statement of Purpose

Our Mission
To provide a prayerful voice, attentive to the Spirit, through which the Faithful
can actively participate in the governance and guidance of the
Catholic Church by living the prophetic witness of our baptism.

Our Goals
To support survivors of clergy sexual abuse
To support priests of integrity
To shape structural change within the Catholic Church
To promote peace and justice in our society

VOTFNJ began in August, 2002 with its first meeting at the Birchwood Manor in Whippany. VOTFNJ holds meetings hosting fine speakers, including some with national reputations. Every other week it also meets to celebrate the Eucharist. We invite you to be part of this loving community! Come and get to know us. Join us at an upcoming VOTFNJ event. COORDINATING TEAM & VOLUNTEERS: VOTFNJ is managed by a coordinating team that is assisted by a dedicated group of volunteers committed to the VOTF's mission and goals.
